Personal Branding

Designing a brand for yourself can be quite challenging, especially knowing this is what you will be recognized as for years.

Concept Sketches

There were a lot of concepts that designed and tested, but after a lot of feedback, I was able to narrow down my selection to the best three. From there, I used the sketches to create digital versions to further decide which one was the most effective design.

Colors

I wanted to keep a low number of colors that I incorporated into my personal brand so as to not get too complicated. The two colors I selected are white and maroon.

Hex: #FFFFFF

RGB: 255, 255, 255

CMYK: 0, 0, 0, 0

Hex: #742025

RGB: 116, 32, 37

CMYK: 0, 72, 68, 55

Typography

For the fonts, I stuck with the Century Gothic family since it’s a clean and modern font, with some traditional elements. The headings are in bold, with the subheadings in semibold, and the text in regular.

Logo Development

During the logo development, I took three concepts from the sketches and created them digitally. From there, it was easy to choose one and start incorporating colors.

Final Logo

The final logo represents myself and the work I create as a graphic designer. The reason I chose this version of the logo as the final is because of the way the positive and negative space works together.

Business Stationery

The business stationery I created for my personal brand include a business card, letterhead, and resume. Each include the finalized logo, as well as important information pertaining to myself.
